Photograms done as a personal project. After studying in Brighton, and growing up in Cayman, oceanic bodies of water have always held a dear place in my heart. I’m very interested and intrigued by how human interaction and continued interferance affects these precious habitats and ecosystems. Taking up photography as a medium, these photograms contributed to my larger project ‘Flesh & Sea.’ I chose to experiment with high contrast and black and white grading, to ‘harshify’ these scenes, to feel the reckoning and darkening consequences of our neglect on these ecosystems.
Layered experiments.
